Gearing up for next year
Season ending on high note for female hockey in Rankin Inlet

Female hockey could take a big stride forward after 30 bags of donated equipment were distributed in Rankin Inlet this past week. . . She decided to make a call for help to her old skating grounds to address the lack of gear.
"I used to play in the Winchester and District Ladies Hockey League in Ontario, so I called the league president and, two weeks later, we had 30 bags of equipment here," said Brunet.

Dear Membership:
Once again February has rolled around and as our focus is predominately on our children entering the playoff season, it is time for ....

Registrations are now being accepted for the 2012-2013 hockey season.

The 2012 NDMHA Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held May 17th at the Nelson Laprade Centre located at 9 William Street Chesterville. The AGM is open to all members in good standing
in the association, and everyone is encouraged to attend. The governing rules for our association are captured in the NDMHA Constitution. Any member of the association can bring forward
proposed changes to the Constitution to be voted on by the members at large during the AGM. All changes need to be submitted in writing to the Secretary at least 2 weeks prior to the AGM (Deadline May 3rd).
Your new executive for 2012-2013 will be elected at the AGM, and the first meeting of the new season
held that night. All positions on the executive are open for nominations. Nominations can either be submitted
in writing to the Secretary in advance of the meeting, or in person with the nominated individual present at the AGM.

Tell us what you think ... each year, surveys are sent out to all players, parents, and coaches within NDMHA for the purpose of
gathering feedback on what you believe is working well, what could be improved, and what's broken. Please, pass along your comments.
